Rose has written a book about her life – domestic violence – how to help loved ones – how to identify abuse in others – how to overcome the trauma and the stigmas. Citizen Action & Involvement

Joella Redman, from the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission will be speaking on resolving conflicts and social problems with non-violence, one of the legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the League of Women Voters will talk about the upcoming election, the importance of voting, and why it is important to get involved in your local community. If you haven’t registered to vote, this is your chance.

Also, many linens, blankets, misc. items, clothes and books have been donated that will be given away on Oct. 6. Please join us for this informative, fun night!
