Loved One Arrested - What's Next? How Can You Help?

Kari Converse has been a criminal defense attorney for the past 23 years. She currently is an assistant federal public defender, so is experienced about federal crimes, court proceedings, prisons, etc. Kari will explain about how the system works, and share why things often happen the way they do. She also speaks Spanish and has a unique insight on legal cultural differences that lead many immigrants to not understand our laws. Kari is experienced, very knowledgeable, and most importantly a person who cares about the inmates as well as their loved ones. Please come and meet Kari and find out ways you can help incarcerated loved ones or family or friends who are dealing with an incarcerated loved one.

This meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 11, at Second Presbyterian Church (location is noted above) with a free dinner starting at 6:00 pm. Please call Ann at 291-6412 for more info and to let her know how many in your family will be coming. Thank you...see you then!
